We’ve tried all the ice cream places in NE - IMO, this is the best, though technically across the "border" in SE. Coffee and cheesecake flavors are delicious but Chocolate XXX probably tops them. Always have a few vegan options. Also serves waffles and espresso.

We prefer to sit at the bar as the view is lovely, especially in summer, and the dining room gets rather loud.

The menu includes pizzas and Korean-influenced dishes to share, and the atmosphere has a lot of nods to upper-Midwest roots like the 70s plates everyone's mom had back in the day. Can't go wrong ordering anything here. Shane especially likes their New Fashioned. Snap some pics in the photo booth for a memento. If the special light in the alley is on, then the "secret" back bar is open.
