Less than a mile from downtown, its 48 acres are full of treasures – history and gardens, sculpture and architecture, ancient oaks and magnolias. It’s a wedding venue, a green space, an art gallery, a classroom space, and a place to celebrate the city’s fascinating past and its promising future.

My Favorite Park in the City - Lots of Festivals, Places to Eat, Large Fields to Play, a Dog Park, and trails for walking. Also, the Atlanta Botanical Gardens are very nice.

The Atlanta Beltline is a Fantastic Walkable Trail. From East Side Ave you can drive to Glenwood Park and park. The trail runs along Bill Kennedy Way and all throughout the city.

Woodys Cheesesteak is yummy.. there is also a delicious chicken and waffles restaurant..

Argosy is a great restaurant I really like the Plancha Burger and Pizzas. They also have a fantastic beer selection!

There is also some history to this place as it started right after the end of World War II, enterprising women in search of a living, some of them mothers widowed by the war, were establishing restaurants all over Atlanta.
