Welcome to Eni’s apartments.  We hope you will enjoy your stay with us. We will try to make your stay as comfortable as possible.   The apartment in the Blloku area is situated in a perfect location. If we where to make suggestions we would recommend the following activities.  Tirana is a lively city with plenty of activities, but we would like you to take some time and learn a bit about our country.  In this respect we would suggest during the day you visit sites like:  1st day- you can have breakfast at the apartment in the terrace maybe, or if you feel you need to be pampered we will suggest COKO Bistro bar just a 3 minutes walk from the apartment.  Since everything is so close after a good breakfast why not go for a stroll and visit BUNKART. On the way you will be walking on the main boulevard where you will notice the Italian architecture on both sides of the street.   After visiting Bunkart you can have coffee at the Caffeys in the opera building overlooking Skanderbeg Square. Or if you are not feeling tired you can visit the New Bazar which will be a 7-8 minutes walking distance from Bunkart.   This area other than being the newly renovated area from the municipality of Tirana is the oldest Bazar in Tirana including some of the oldest businesses which are inherited through generations.  For example, even if you are not a fan of Turkish cuisine you must try QOFTE METI in the Bazar. It is one of the oldest shops and everyone who is from Tirana knows  Meti makes the best qofte in town. Some will argue in the region too.  If you fancy trying some traditional cuisine you can not miss ODA which again is situated in the old Bazar.   After having had your dose of Albanian culture and cuisine we would suggest you spend your evening going and visiting the lake of Tirana. It is just 10 minutes walk from the apartment and we are sure you will enjoy an evening coffee or aperitive there.   For dinner Tirana offers a beautiful variety of restaurants where you may take your pick since again everything will be in walking distance from the apartment.   If you fancy some meat-based cuisine we will suggest:  Vila Ferdinand  Spagetti Western  Ottium  Fish Based                                                            Sushi  Fish Shop                                               1- Definetly SALT (make sure you have a reservation)  IL Gusto                                                  2- Yamato  Fresco Fish                                             3- So Sushi Later at night Blloku is well known for its nightlife. However the best places to go in the area will be: Pepper Lounge Tribeca Bar If you like cocktails you shouldn’t miss Nouvel Vague I would say the above is quite a full day in Tirana 😊 2nd Day – You can start the day by trying something sweet at the Coccolatini Italiani 😊 (don’t miss them). Afterwards you can visit the National Art Gallery to get a feel of how strong of a propaganda art was during communist times.   Later we suggest you see the national museum as well as Ethem Bej Mosque which is just 2 minutes away on Skanderbeg square.    If you fancy some shopping later on why not wander in TOPTANI Center where you will find plenty of contemporary shops. Very close to Toptani Center is the old castle area which now is full of new Caffeys and restaurants. Furthermore, they hold monthly art expositions which are usually very interesting.  In the evening why not go and visit Dajti Mountin with breathtaking views of Tirana at night. I would suggest you catch the sunset as well. If you have a car there is an immense choice of places to stop for dinner otherwise you can take the lift and Dajti Paradise will be your best choice for a pleasant dinner.     We suggest using a taxi to get to dajti.  From the apartment to the lift in dajti should be a 10-15 minutes’ drive depending on traffic.   We suggest a taxi which is reliable and speaks your language so you can communicate easily. Mr Altin speaks English, German and Swedish. We recommend him as a reliable person and he can accommodate your needs even for trips outside of Tirana for example going to Durres or Kruja, or to the airport and back.
