I recommend this place because I love their dark & stormy's, the fried lemon halloumi , the duck poutine, and because Nokomis ale is on tap. Heaven. It's tiny & fills up fast, so grab a table!

This is considered by many to be the best restaurant in the city. It's a little bit fancy (but jeans-friendly) & features local, organic ingredients when possible. Comfy, heart-warming food, great atmosphere. Top Chef Canada owned.

Tucked out of the way, this little locally-sourced restaurant is worth the jaunt. Be sure to check the website for hours, and a reservation is recommended. Even the standard breakfast is amazing here, and if the perogies are on the menu, try them. Also the beet ceasar...mmmmm....

The worst-named pub ever? The food is pretty good though, and decently priced, and they have occasional singer/song writer nights that some friends play at. If you have a beard, be prepared to feel self-concious.

Live music. That's what this place has going for it. I've been known to haunt this place on a Saturday night, especially when my boyfriend's band is playing. Drink the draft at your own risk.
