Victoria park is a well kept park, central to Dubbo & a couple of minutes from Arthur. Enjoy a relaxing stroll around the floral filled gardens. The fountain here is a heritage piece of Dubbo history.
There is also an enclosed kids park, bbq areas and the open air pool in this park.

There are a few different river walk paths that can be followed or cycled around if you have a bike. A great spot to soak up some nature and get in a good dog walk. Dogs must be on a leash whilst on the tracks but they will appreciate a cooling off in the river half way around (beware of river currents).
Park runs held here on Saturday’s (covid rules have currently stopped this).

The zoo is one of the main attractions to Dubbo. Approximately a 12minute drive from Arthur to the other side of town where this amazing experience is located. We advise grabbing a picnic and driving around the zoo in your car or if it isn’t too hot, hire one of their bikes for some exercise & animal seeing.

The open air pool is the place to cool off in summer. Head here for exercise or family enjoyment. They have a new kids splash area and baby pool as well as slides and full sized pool. There is a small kiosk here but you can also take your own snacks and refreshments. Located on the edge of Victoria park so an enjoyable walk through the park from Arthur to get to the pool.
