These are some of my personal recommendations for grabbing a bite in downtown Franklin, Leiper's Fork and Fairview.
Upscale modern Italian restaurant with excellent food and a great bar. It is just a block or two off the main square in downtown Franklin, about 25 minutes away.

Excellent breakfast spot in an historic home a block off the main square in downtown Franklin (25 minutes away). They have amazing biscuit-themed dishes and some unique and excellent sides (I strongly recommend the "Bonuts" and Chronic Bacon).

Reservations are not allowed, but you can call or go online to join the waitlist which can significantly shorten your wait when you get there.

Owned by the same group that owns 55 South and Cork & Cow, this is an upscale, trendy restaurant with good food and cocktails and is very popular with locals and tourists alike. The have a more private bar and a few tables upstairs, but the main restaurant and bar is downstairs right off Main street in downtown Franklin.

Located about a mile outside of downtown Franklin in "The Factory", these are some amazing donuts. We jokingly call them "Five Dollars" because that is about what each donut costs, but they are exquisite and of the multi-layer, croissant style of making donuts.

Located in a very unassuming spot next to the Shell station in Fairview (about 10 min from the property), they are a more traditional style donut shop than Five Daughters, but these are some of the best donuts around. They open early and stay open until they sell out which is usually around lunchtime. Stop in and grab your donuts to go as the ambiance is not all that inviting.

It can get crowded on weekends and at dinner time.
Now called "Fox & Locke" and one of two open restaurants in Leiper's Fork (the other is Country Boy directly across the street), it is an easy 10-minute quick drive from the property. This lively local restaurant and bar was formerly the original Puckett's until the name was changed in 2022. They have a decent food menu, but they are best known for their live music and it can get pretty packed, especially Thursday through Sunday. Thursday is open mic night, and you will see a bit of everything. There is usually a small cover charge added to your bill whenever there is live music, generally $10 - $15 per person. If you are visiting the area from out of town and love live music, then this is a must-do.
