Located on South Palafox Street at the end of Palafox Pier. Visitors to Plaza de Luna are greeted by a life-size statue of Don Tristan de Luna, a splash fountain (open daily mid- March-October 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.), concessions, and historic markers. It's a great place to fish, walk, and enjoy a cool breeze.

National Seashore
Fort Pickens is a historic 1800s fort and is part of the Gulf Islands National Seashore. The Fort Pickens section of the national seashore also offers protected, undeveloped and stunningly beautiful white sand beaches. I would choose this beach or Johnson’s Beach if you are looking for more relaxed and less crowded beaches.
You can access this national park with a $25 pass per vehicle that is good for all of the Gulf Islands National Seashore parks for seven days, Which includes Johnson’s Beach in Perdido Key.

At peak times there can be a bit of a wait to be seated but after they take your number you can use the time to enjoy a walk along the water and enjoy the view of boats and the bay. Jaco’s is worth the wait because the food is great and you can’t beat the views. $$
