Excellent Mediterranean restaurant/wine bar, a stone's throw away from the flat. They serve an ever-changing seasonal menu, plus some great natural wines which you can also buy to takeaway. It's the type of restaurant everyone wishes they had in their neighbourhood. Open Wed-Sat, usually no need to book but it helps them out if you do!

Some of the best noodles in London, and cheap to boot. It's small so best not to go with more than 4 people and you can't book. Also available takeaway and delivery. A real hit with those in the know!

The Barbican one of our favourite buildings in London. You'll need a ticket for the Conservatory but even if you can't get in there, the rest of the complex is a lovely place to hang out on a Sunday afternoon. Also has a cinema and shows.

Famous market with top quality crafts, endless food and drink options and generally an excellent vibe. The market is only on Saturdays but it's a great spot any day. You can sit in London Fields park afterwards and soak it in!
