Very nice italian pizza, deli and bakery just 5 min away from the Blue house. The owners also started a more fancy restaurant across the street.

Take the funicular or walk up the Fløyen mountain to enjoy the view - or walk back down to the centre in 30 minutes. Lots of paths and activities on the top: playground, climbing park and troll forest, canoes in the summer. Loved by families and used for exercise all year, but the queue for the funicular in the tourist season may be frightening. Go before 10-11 am or hike!

Very popular and crowded if nice weather, you may have it almost to yourself if foggy. Very nice for families, a bit stressful bringing a buggy down all the stairs, but you may bring it inside. You may check out the Bryggen Museum in the Northern end or the Hanseatic Museum on the South end if you want to learn more, or else just have a stroll around.
