Another favourite of mine is the Belle Vue at Papcastle, if you fancied a little walk then you can follow the river from Broughton all the way to Papcastle.

Kirkstile Inn is a great place to stop for a drink/bite to eat after a walk around Loweswater, Crummock or Buttermere. I would highly recommend that you book first as it’s a popular place for both locals and visitors.
