Once there, turn right and follow the loop all the way around until you are back at where you began. It's a beautiful walk, under and around the Spanish Oaks, next to the Hillsborough River. Pack a picnic lunch and stay awhile!

Beaches
Clearwater is listed as one of the top 5 most beautiful beaches in the United States. The sand is called sugar sand, and the water is amazing. Be prepared to laze the day away in a set of lounge chairs and a staked umbrella which will set you back about $120 for the day, or if you feel like splurging, (this is vacation after all!) you can go all in for one of their plush Queen size beach beds with shade top for somewhere between $180 - $225 depending on season and time of day. If that’s a little steep, grab a beach town, a few chairs, and the pop up tent from the closet, and save your money for a great feast! Clearwater is also famous for their restaurant scene. Between the pizza, seafood tacos, frozen bananas, fried fish, and steam pots full of shrimp - the food is simply to die for!
Parking is easy to find, and it’s plentiful. But, depending on what you are doing, you want to ensure you are parking in the right place. If you are looking to just go to the beach, parking right in front of the beach gets you in and out with your load of chairs, coolers and towels. But if you want to shop, eat and then beach it, head for the parking garage across from the Hilton and get the best of both worlds. Plus, your car will get shade while you are getting sun. With that said, drink water. If you aren’t use to humidity and heat, you can dehydrated very fast. You need better 60-80 ounces of non-carbonated, non-caffeinated, non-alcoholic beverage to stay hydrated to enjoy your vacation. Hydration is key to fun!
