I’ve added places here that are all within a fifteen minute walk from our house, with a few favourites that are a little farther afield.
One of the best restaurants in town. Creative dishes and great atmosphere inside. It used to be walk-in, but I think they have switched to reservations and you will need to book well in advance.

Excellent food. The only place in town I’ve ever found halibut cheeks on the menu. If you’ve never had them, they are to die for. Seasonal, so they may not have them all the time.

The waterfront is a lovely place to walk and you can stop at the wave and submarine playground with the kids. There are also all kinds of vendors from ice cream to little cafes.
