They recently renovated and have added a lovely lounge area and extensive outdoor seating. Be sure to take a walk down to the pool area, where you get a great view of the river. Serving bubble teas and inexpensive poke bowels, you'll find this place is a beacon for Shepherdtown's young people. (Sometimes the line for bubble tea looks like a scene from High School Musical.) Still, its hard to pass on a good Bibimbap Bowl.

The appeal of Blue Moon is the outdoor seating that features the Town Run's water coursing through. Great place for vegetarian options. During COVID they close pretty early in the day, so we recommend for lunch. This place can be jumping on the weekends with tourists. Note: This was once our favorite family restaurant, but recent management issues have us questioning if we'll go back. Time will tell.

This is the most dog-friendly restaurant in town. It opened during Covid (brave!) but we haven't personally eaten there yet. Walking by the food looks good, and they often have live music.
