This place is a bit further, but not out of the way for boat and jet ski rental. They also have a great little place to eat called Lakeside Cafe. Everyone there has always been super friendly.

Food scene
This is one of our favorite restaurants. The menu has great variety, the wait staff are efficient, and the food actually comes out hot. It's a bit dressier than most other restaurants.

A local favorite that is always busy - even during COVID! Their food is really yummy and it is a great place for families. i also hear their happy hour is amazing.

It may look small on the outside, but once inside it has more seating than you think. With a wide variety of breakfast choices for anyone, this is a fabulous place for brunch - just don't sleep in too late!

Sightseeing
Ha Ha Tonka State Park is host to these castle ruins. The story is fascinating, the trail to the castle is not difficult and the views are incredible. Definitely worth the time off the water to go and see.

Commonly known as "The Strip" Bagnell Dam Blvd is part carnival, part walk back into history, and part crazy fun. It is especially busy during the weekend, and all during the summer for summer visitors. You just kinda gotta go!

Sometimes it is nice to slow down for a couple of hours and just be entertained by a great movie in a nicely air conditioned theater. The seats are comfy and who doesn't love free popcorn refills? (pay attention to buying the right size tho)
