The entrance to Pisgah Forest is 15 minutes from Etowah Escape. It has hundreds of miles of mountain biking and hiking trails. The area is home to more than 250 waterfalls. The Davidson River flows through Pisgah, giving visitors the chance for a refreshing (aka COLD!) swim, lazy afternoon on a tube, or kayak fun.

If you want hiking trails that are well marked, this is the place for you. You have to pay an entrance fee to get into the park, but you get a great trail map and very well made and well marked trails. You also have the option of taking an elevator to the top and skipping the 500 steps!
