Pure relaxation
Stunning hot springs located right on the "point" of the Peninsula. An aquifer replaces the water in all the pools each day (so arrive early to receive the freshest water). The minerals are incredibly soothing and offer amazing relaxation. The whole place is built for zen (one of my favourite spaces are the change rooms). Refreshing healthy food and drink are available. Kids welcome (make sure they do not put their heads under though). This place is pure bliss - prepare to be relaxed! Only 25 minutes from 49 Grandview Terrace and cost effective (approx. $45/head and you can stay the whole day).

The history of Point Nepean spans back thousands of years to the Bunurong people and it has also played an important role in shaping the early European settlement and defence of Australia, being used to quarantine people arriving in Victoria, defending the colony and for military training.

No need to be fancy at the Peninsula - relaxed is the go!
The Mornington Peninsula is relaxed and laid back. There is no need to be fancy unless you want to dine out at one of the Red Hill wineries or restaurants - this is the only time you may need a heel or something a little more manicured than shorts and a singlet!
