Westfield Riccarton is the biggest shopping mall in Christchurch (I think). Cinema, restaurant, many fashions. Only $55 for 5 movie tickets which is a very good deal actually :P

Arts & Culture
There's so much interesting street art at Christchurch, and the exhibition at Art Gallery is incredible. If you go there at night, there's the neon light outside of the building says "Everything's going to be alright". I LOVED IT!

Parks & Nature
There's beautiful, different kind of flowers, huge trees. You can always go on a tree swing if you're lucky to find it :) Best date spot ever.

Sumner is a very quiet area, there's full of nice houses, and cafe. if you are looking for a swim/surf, there's definitely a good choice. Not far like 10- 15 mins drive.

If you go up to Port Hills around 8pm, You can definitely see a sunset and THE WHOLE CHRISTCHURCH CITY. IT'S BEAUTIFUL! This is actually an awesome spot to sightsee the city. Also there's so many different tracks for you to hike.

Riccarton Sunday Market is a MUST to do on Sundays especially a sunny one. it only opens on Sunday but you can find interesting stuff during 9-2pm and tons of FOOD.
