We don’t compromise at Siam. It’s one of our core values. What this means is we begin with the best ingredients and end with the best ingredients. It’s our profound belief that this is the only way we can share and have you experience Thai cuisine as it is meant. Traditionally, when people think of Thai food they think curry or pad Thai. But it is so much more than this. It is complicated. It is sophisticated. It is lovely. It is beautiful. And more than anything, it is delicious.

They prepare their dishes with only the freshest ingredients, locally sourced when possible. John Gerona, the former chef at La Marmotte, has lived in the Telluride region for over 27 years and has trained at the French Culinary Institute as well as top restaurants in New York City. His European background and world travels have influenced both the menu and the restaurant's decor. Stop by from 4-6pm for half priced tapas and drink specials, including the house sangria. The location is great for families; enjoy the outdoor seating while watching your children play on the climbing rock. The Village Table also offers both on and off premise catering for any event including weddings and private parties.

Wood Ear's name is derived from an essential mushroom of Asian cuisine. The namesake of the restaurant is a nod to the faraway culture whose fusion with Texas fare aims to satisfy a diverse range of palates and occasions. Wood Ear general manager Matthew Arnold and chef Kevin Bush long wanted to open a ramen shop, but being from Texas, it was imperative they integrate the flavor of their native state

As the tallest free falling waterfall in the state, Bridal Veil Falls is a must visit if you’re in Telluride in spring or summer. This magnificent waterfall is easy to reach from downtown. It falls for 365 feet over the edge of the town’s box canyon. A power plant sits on top the waterfall, which provides about a quarter of Telluride’s electricity. In the past, it powered the Smuggler-Union Mine. It’s listed in the National Register of Historic Places. It is located at the end of the town, the road passes by an old mill, the Pandora Mine. Distance: 1.8 miles to the top of the falls.

The Cornet Creek Trail is a short hike with a spectacular finish at the 80-foot Cornet Falls. The hike affords you beautiful views of the Telluride Ski Resort. Note that the hike requires some scrambling on loose soil and rock so wear sturdy shoes; Extreme winters have made this more difficult to traverse over the years. Don't be afraid to explore the view from different sides of the falls! Distance: .25 miles Begin at the top of North Aspen Street in the town of Telluride. Instead of taking a left at the Corner Creek Bridge as you would to access the Jud Wiebe Trail, continue straight and follow the trail to Cornet Falls.

Moderate - Access from the top of Bridal Veil Falls. Approximately 4 hours round trip covering 5 1/4 miles with an elevation gain of 2,000 feet. This is a spectacular wildflower hike which ends above tree-line at the lake. From the top of the falls, stay on the road and pass a tin-roofed shed where the road switches upward, sharply to the left, away from the creek. Blue Lake is an hour from this shed. Continue walking on the main road, when you come to a “Y”, take the left toward the pointed pyramid shaped mountain in the skyline. Walk up a rocky road beside a sometimes wet, dark rock wall to another “Y”. Go right, toward the three-needled pyramid shaped peak ahead.

Telluride's Via Ferrata is not for the faint-hearted, but it's a must-do for any adrenaline junkie or to-the-core adventure seeker stopping by. At its most intense, you're suspended on a small iron foothold by a harness at 500 feet. The newly-legal climbing route is technical, breathtaking and exposed on the East end and South-facing wall of Telluride's boxed canyon. If you do decide to partake in this incredible experience, please be safe! We highly recommend utilizing guides to tackle the trip.
