The food is amazing and it is hard to choose a treat to have with your drink of choice be it a coffee or my favorite the TCHO Hot Chocolate. Oh and the Beignets are just divine first thing in the morning :)

The most beautifully presented desserts and coffee from Stumptown in Portland - amazing I love this place when I want to treat myself and my friends.

The food is presented beautifully in a small little restaurant. Try the warm eggplant salad with miso as an appetizer it is just delicious. I had a vegetarian feast here which was perfect for me. Omnivores have their fair share of deliciousness with the Pork Ramen - my husbands favorite! Their menu changes seasonally so it is always innovative.

I had a vegetarian feast here which was perfect for me. Omnivores have their fair share of deliciousness with the Pork Ramen - my husbands favorite! Their menu changes seasonally so it is always innovative.
Lots of single folks go here to hang out on the weekends. I like it as I can go there with friends and enjoy cocktails and their tasty paella. There is live music later at night if you feel like shaking it on the dance floor!

Happy hour at Xanh is the best with $5 cocktails my favorite being the Lychee Martini and an array of fresh and tasty food. Happy hour is from 4:30pm to 6:30pm everyday!!

I love Acai bowls and this place used to be a food truck and it recently became a store in downtown Mountain View. These bowls are amazing and are so good for you. They have fruit smoothies too with delicious ingredients. I highly recommend Acai bowls to cool down on a hot day and as a bonus you will feel energized too!

We take our kids here and they will eat the rice balls instead of the ramen. This place is small so I recommend coming earlier when they open at 5:30pm or for lunch at 11:30am.

This place has delicious cocktails and an excellent choice of scotch whiskeys for the connoisseur. The food is so fresh - it is Mediterranean cuisine and the presentation is beautiful, I just love the food here.

This is a fun place to visit with Snowy Egrets nesting in the trees and right next to the Google building is this park with Chair Park (as the locals call it) - perfect for photo ops. We usually ride our bike there from the Stevens Creek Trail

This is the trail I will ride my bike down to Shoreline for a nice 5 mile ride there and back. You can walk to downtown from here it is around 2 miles on the trail. An excellent jogging/running trail too and you can travel to or from downtown and go as far as you like once you reach the shore, just remember you have to come back again!

Stevens Creek Trail
Stevens Creek TrailThis is the trail I will ride my bike down to Shoreline for a nice 5 mile ride there and back. You can walk to downtown from here it is around 2 miles on the trail. An excellent jogging/running trail too and you can travel to or from downtown and go as far as you like once you reach the shore, just remember you have to come back again!

There are local theatre and dance groups here. A wee bit of culture in Mountain View.

The cinema has been recently refurbished with lounge seating and a bar. I love the comfort of the cinema here and it is really close by. A lot of the new release films are here as well as some classics every so often.

The Acme bread is delicious and comes in a baguette or a loaf for fresh sandwiches. There are some small local producers too for appetizers - a favorite for fresh, organic and local.

The staff are amazing and super helpful - they are great to chat to about the local area. This store has a terrific area for kids books just to hang out and read. Perfect place for gifts as they will do free gift wrapping plus the added bonus of supporting a local business - yay!
