Trails and river access
You can access trails at Cronin Ranch 1.2 miles from the ranch at the end of my street. The movie called “Love comes Softly” was filmed at this park and you can see some of the remaining staging buildings.

There are lovely trails here also for hiking, riding or biking. Some trails are part of the Tevis Cup 100 mile endurance ride and you can go from Auburn to Truckee!

Apple Hill is a must visit place year round but is especially great in the fall. Large farms offer activities and lots of apples and other locally grown veggies and fruits. Ask me and I'll recommend a few of my favorites! Just made blackberry jam from Boa Vista farm.

Winterhill is on Main Street and is a boutique olive oil and balsamic vinegar shop. I recommend you try the fig balsamic vinegar, which is a staple in my house!
