Naapurustot

A cosy little area on a hill right in the middle of Kallio, with old, colourful, unique houses. Small parks scattered around the area, great for strolling or enjoying some quiet time in the park.

Puu-vallila is a lovely, picturesque area full of old wooden houses. You'll find a park and a couple of nice cafés there too. Walking distance from my apartment.

Sauna

A truly traditional, proper wood-fired sauna. They have spare floors for men and women, both of them with huge saunas, authentic from the 1920's. Between löyly sessions you can buy a cheep beer to have outside on the street, chatting with the other sauna-goes. In the winter you might even have a roll in the snow! They also have a fridge for bringing your own drinks. Highly recommended!

Samgöngur

Trams and the metro are the best ways to get around

Tickets to local transport cannot be bought in the vehicles, so I highly recommend downloading the HSL ticket app. https://www.hsl.fi/en
