2 minutes away from the bottom of the road. One of the cheapest 3 course daily menus you can get including your drink. The food is great quality and the portions are good for the price.

One of the oldest bars in Alicante. It is a bit run down nowadays but I still go back occasionally. I have known one of the barmen for nearly 20 years.

You will need to jump on the tram for this place. It takes about half an hour but it is worth it when you get there. The Tapas are very high quality, very Galician and the prices are very good.

If you just crave a burger and we all do occasionally then this place is for you. Much higher quality than some of the mainstream burger restaurants the TGB is a really tasty alternative.

Always packed with people and I can see why. The wine and cheeses are superb. It is just across the road.

A nice place to enjoy a good quality pizza right by the sea. You will need to get the tram to get here but you can make an evening of it and have a great local ice cream after.

There are two stores in Alicante. One at each end of the avenue. They have just about everything you could want to buy. The cafeterias do good food too. There is a post office on the fifth floor.

The most famous castle in the city. The views are spectacular and it is open everyday. There is a lift from street level next to the Postiguet beach. It will save you the walk which can be tough.
