Tips for guests

Bring sunscreen, bug repellent, life vests if you need them. If you are boating, NC regulations require vests on kids under 14. Local grocery store is Piggly Wiggly in Littleton. Good for meats and beer not so much for wine.

Boat Launch

The closest public boat launch is at Bluebird Point. Summit Wildlife Access on Lees Creek Address: 432 Bluebird Rd Littleton, NC 27850 Directions: Highway 158 (between Roanoke Rapids and Littleton) to Myrick Estates Road, right on Bluebird Road The launch is at mile marker 1 , we are at mile marker 3 . Second house on the left.

Boat Launch

If you are bringing a boat, please let us know. We have one slip for tying up. The public boat launch is about five minutes away at 400-424 Bluebird Rd, Littleton, NC 27850. Boat launch is at mile marker 1 we are located right near mile marker 3.

Getting comfortable

The thermostat for the first floor is on the wall in the living room. The thermostat for the second and third floor is on the wall in the second floor space. For the comfort of guests staying on the third floor, set the thermostat fan to ‘on’ and leave the room doors open.
