This secret speakeasy style bar is a must visit. They make award winning cocktails and there is a cosy, friendly atmosphere.
It's located above The Larder House restaurant (run by the same people). I would recommend booking, but sometimes you can just turn up.

Casa Carlos / Chef Carlos serves lovely spanish food. There is a basement with large tables, so great if you're meeting a group of friends. Or smaller tables for two are available upstairs.

This is a beautiful nature reserve with fantastic views of Bournemouth and Christchurch.
It's an 8min drive from the annex.
Pay and display car park.
You can't drive through the nature reserve, so if you're not keen on walking give it a miss, but if you enjoy a walk you'll love Hengistbury Head.
