Walk and Bike

Austin is a great place for walking or cycling, especially around South Congress Avenue. Caution: Drivers here do not always yield to pedestrians while they are rightfully in the crosswalk. ALWAYS check for traffic turning as you are crossing in the crosswalk. This seems like common sense, but I have saved countless people from getting hit over the years.
