We're in one of the best city neighborhoods for proximity to non-city landscapes
One of the main reasons I live in this neighborhood is the Botanic Garden. Walk in and feel 1000 miles away from the city you're in, but not so big that it'll take you hours to wander through everything. Hear the birds chirping as you wander through a lovely babbling brook, Japanese hill-and-pond garden, beautiful rose garden, and epic Cherry Blossom collection - just to name a few features. BBG is jewel in the crown of Brooklyn, even in the winter (when it's free during the week!)
