Snowmobile Trailhead and Access

Fairview Road

Official Trailhead. The trailhead is located at the Gaylord Youth soccer complex where there is parking and porta-potties. To get to the trailhead from the house, take Old US 27 back to Gaylord (turn right out of the driveway) to Fairview Road and turn right to the soccer fields. Parking is available on the south side of Fairview.

Parmater Road

Try to access the trail from Parmater Rd. Turn left out of the driveway and turn left on Parmater. You'll reach the trail tunnel after a few hundred yards. Cross over and access the trail on the right. This access is not guaranteed, but with luck, it is open.

Rustic bar and restaurant just north of the house in Vanderbilt. It should take you about 5-7 minutes to get there. Prime rib night is Saturdays. Live music. Heated smoking area outside. Easy to get to via snowmobile trail.
