Something for everyone here! Great restaurants, kids' museum, theater, IMAX movies, lots and lots of cruises.
My personal favorites are the Crystal Gardens with the jumping water fountains and the Ferris wheel which gives you great views of the city day and night.

This is just one of multiple architecture cruises in the city, and it's a fabulous way to see a side of Chicago that most people don't. I've taken family and friends on these tours and they have always loved them.

This is one of two spectacular water fountains in Chicago, the other is a very modern one in Millennium Park. But to me Buckingham Fountain is the most beautiful water fountain in the world! The Art Deco style sea horses are wonderful, and the amount of water is amazing. It's great during the day, but the best time to go is at dusk or after dark for the spectacular light and music show. Don't miss this, but you really should go to both to see just how different but equally spectacular they are.

But to me Buckingham Fountain is the most beautiful water fountain in the world! The Art Deco style sea horses are wonderful, and the amount of water is amazing. It's great during the day, but the best time to go is at dusk or after dark for the spectacular light and music show. Don't miss this, but you really should go to both to see just how different but equally spectacular they are.
You cannot miss this fabulous modern water fountain, I don't think there is anything like this any place else. Some really great things about it: 1) you get to participate in it, it has a "walking on water" illusion, and water cascades from the top at timed intervals so you can get as wet as you want 2) you get to watch everybody having the most fun ~ kids and adults ~ playing in the water 3) watching the surprised and delighted faces of people who don't know about the cascading water from the top as it comes down on them.

Soldier Field is so close to us I love it! We go to see the Bears, concerts and festivals. This year Beyonce and ColdPlay will be here, and the Copa America Centenario soccer (football) tournament.
