Fantastic breakfast place with good coffee. Next door in the evenings a little taco and tequila bar (12 seater little hole in the wall bar). Tacos are delicious and it's a fun atmosphere.

Go for a walk, play a game, go for a swim, fly a kite......the list goes on. There is always something to do at the Commons. The Halifax Oval is located here and in the winter has free ice skate rentals in the winter and bikes/rollerblade in the summer! There is also a free outdoor swimming pool. Check online for open swim/lane swim times.

This is one of my favorite spots in the city. There is a wonderful rooftop patio with a 360 view of the city and the harbour. It has been nominated as one of the the worlds most beautiful libraries!
