Rent a bike and use the Legacy trail to bike from Canmore to Banff! We recommend starting in Canmore because then your way back is slightly more downhill and parking will be easier to find, as it is typically less busy than Banff. The pathway is entirely paved and it is not too hilly (it is a very slight consistent uphill, but you don't really notice until you are coming back downhill).

Take the Sentinel Pass hike to see the larch trees. Especially beautiful in September. Get there early, the parking lot is often full by 6AM in the summer months on the weekends. They also offer a shuttle service within Lake Louise to the trailhead.
