I've included the restaurants near the house as well as popular destinations that are no more than 4 miles from here
Glenwood is an old standby breakfast place in Eugene - they also serve lunch and dinner. It's very close to the house and the food is consistent with great service. Dinner time is usually quiet and the food is decent and reasonably priced. Breakfast time/crowd makes for a wait if you go at prime hours but so many people do. Very close to the house as well - I have recommendations for more spectacular breakfasts but this is close and often does the trick.

There is usually a wait but you can put your name in and go down to The Broadway Wine Merchant where you can have a glass of wine while you wait. The folks from Sabai will come get you when your table is ready. One of my favorites!

There is usually a wait but you can put your name in and go down to The Broadway Wine Merchant where you can have a glass of wine while you wait. The folks from Sabai will come get you when your table is ready. One of my favorites!
One of Eugene's finest restaurants. Everything is prepared well, the staff is professional and service is great. Nothing on the menu will disappoint. The prices are on the high end but the quality and caliber of food is in line with the cost.

Hideaway (6 blocks) is a fantastic spot for classic bakery items like croissants, breads, rolls and other breakfast pastries. They serve coffee and even have a breakfast menu. There is year round indoor and outdoor seating (lots of heaters in the cooler months) The bakery is located behind Mazzi's Restaurant and is about 5 blocks from here.
They soup/sandwich/lunch menu as well.

One of the best things about being in South Eugene is the close access to the Ridgeline trail system. You can hike in the beautiful woods in and around our city with loops/trails ranging from 2 - 12 miles. One of the trail heads is 1.75 miles from the house and from there you could get to backside trail of Spencer Butte (one of Eugene's more iconic hikes) Ask me for details or look online - if you like hiking this woodsy hike w/in the city is one not to be missed.

The Rexius running trail is 2 blocks from the house. The trail has several spots where you can turn loop back so leaving from the house you could do a run/walk ranging from 1.5 miles to 5.5 miles on a bark-a-mulched trail.
