Beach
This beach is nice to lay out and catch some sun. Along the boardwalk there are many bars and restaurants. The main drag in PB is Garnet Avenue and it has LOTS of restaurants, bars and shops.
Pacific Beach
This is a beautiful beach with a short main street called Avenida de la Playa where you can find restaurants and art galleries. Great beach for swimming, snorkeling and kayak rentals/kayaking.

Beach
This beach is what I call the "hippie beach". You will see more "colorful people" here and van dwellers park in the lot down by the beach. There are bars and pubs, eateries, shops and even a dog beach where dogs play off leash.
