Park and Ride - closest location to my house is the Coronado Mall. I would HIGHLY recommend using the park and ride service. Attempting to travel to the park, and pay high parking prices is NOT worth it.

This tram takes you up the Sandia mountain to the crest with wonderful views of the city, a mountain top restaurant, and for course- a gift shop. The tram is ~$25/person, but you can also drive up the mountain for free. It's about 45 min drive from my house.

Free, easy walking trail to view ancient petroglyphs. There is usually a park ranger along the path at some point. They are always friendly and informative.

Marble Brewery Westside has a wonderful outdoor patio space - 2 levels, and live music. Each time I went there has never been a cover charge. Also, great brews!

Sprout's is like Trader Joes or Whole Foods. Their prices are reasonable and they have a wonderful selection of fresh produce. This is my favorite grocery store in town!
