One of my favorites in Long Beach. A short drive if you’re in the mood for some real delicious, no nonsense, down-to-earth Mexican food. Really good tacos, a great quesadilla with shrimp and octopus and everything else. Definitely good on a limited budget!

One of my favorite activities in Long Beach. Give ourself a couple of hours on Long Beach’s canals and bring food and drink for a leisure onboard pick nick. Try to go at low tide. The boat can’t fit under most bridges in high tide.

To avoid rush hour home you could take Sunset Boulevard to Pacific Coast Highway and from there to a sunset dinner at Mariasol on Santa Monica Pier.
