The beautiful island Djurgården is located about 25 minutes away by foot. Here you will find a lot of nature, cafes, restaurants, parks and museums such as Skansen, Vasa Museum, Gröna Lund and Rosendals Trädgård. Would recommend Djurgården for a sunny day that will be spent outside. During Christmas time Skansen is a lovely place with a lot of things to see.

Here you will find a lot of nature, cafes, restaurants, parks and museums such as Skansen, Vasa Museum, Gröna Lund and Rosendals Trädgård. Would recommend Djurgården for a sunny day that will be spent outside. During Christmas time Skansen is a lovely place with a lot of things to see.
At the Vasa Museum you will find the old ship that was built for the Swedish king Gustav Vasa. It only made it about 2 kilometers/1 mile on water before it sank. 333 years later it was found and was towed to this museum. There is also a restaurant.
