Food Scene
Fork is probably the most popular restaurant with the locals. It's where you can usually find me with friends when celebrating birthdays or special occassions. The atmosphere is high energy but cozy and relaxing. I highly recommend the Tomato Basil Fondue and Grilled Cheese as an appetizer. On Tuesdays, they serve a Cast Iron Buttermilk fried Chicken & Cheddar Waffle that always sells out. Burgers, salads - they are all done over the top here.

Best BBQ and Vegan Food in Boise. A very short walk from the home. Service here takes time - you'll meet your server right away, but the food is slow in preparation, but always worth it. Call ahead for take out. Lot's of Vegan options too!

Barbacoa is my FAVORITE restaurant and reservations should be made asap. Great craft cocktails and a huge menu! If you're Vegetarian, ask for a vegetarian specific menu and you'll be wowed. The atmosphere is anything but boring!

The Greenbelt also serves as an alternative transportation route for commuters. Access to the center of the Greenbelt is 1/2 mile from Boise's Gem.
