Uffington White Horse

One of the areas most famous historic assets. Managed by the National Trust.
Neolithic land mark of significance; is it a horse or was it a dragon? Sitting next to this wonderful sacred sign is the Dragon Hill; where George is said to have slaid the Dragon; and where the grass refuses to grow on account of the spilt blood... There is Folklore galore in this incredible and scenic part of the world

Fancy a mouthwatering curry, again another hidden gem, with bar restaurant and take away. I have never been disappointed with the food; and each bite delivers the fresh fragrance of the traditional indian spices. Would only suggest you ask for a good table in the main dining area if you plan to visit. They operate a buffet style lunch on a Sunday - booking is essential.

I would highly recommend a drive into Shrivenham, park up and take the No. 66 bus into Oxford, cost around £ 6.00 return I beleive? Parking is difficult, traffic can be congested and parking is expensive. Plenty to do see and love! An absolute must if you are here for a couple of days.

SPORT

An excellent day out no matter what league they play, try to get the corporate experience, it's such fun. Win or lose it's about the passion of the game.

Sightseeing

A stunning home built by the first Earl of Craven and now owned by National Trust; this elegant historic building was created for the love of his wife; however sadly she passed before she could enjoy this stunning creation. The Earl of Craven was a philanthropic soul who travelled between London and the country; he is said to have been a friend to Sameul Peeps... and created the first Berkshire hunt. A wonderful place to enjoy nature; landscape and history
