In Texas, we love the great outdoors and Austin is home to some of the best natural swimming spots in the state. Here are the favs.
Natural spring fed swimming pool is always a refreshing 67 degrees. Open year round. Cool off in the heat of the day ($3 entry) or catch a free swim from 9pm-10pm nightly.

This trail loop circles the entirety of lady bird lake downtown and is 10 miles in all. My recommendation is to park at Zilker park take a run around the lake and then cool off in Barton Springs after.
