These are our favourite places to eat which you can all reach by foot from our apartment.

Our favourite place to eat real Luxembourgish food! We can absolutely recommend their 'Kniddelen' which is similar to the Austrian / German 'Spätzle'. The place is very authentic and is run by an elderly woman and her two sons (this is where the name of the restaurant comes from, 'Bouwen' means 'sons'). Take the elevator to get there!

Best chocolaterie in town! Their pralines, chocolates and cakes are excellent. The place is very authentic and classical. They also offer french cuisine lunch.

A bit of a longer walk but absolutely worth it! They have the best ice cream in town and have an amazing selection of milk based but also vegan flavours.

This is the national Museum for History and Art. It is located in the historic city center. Whereas the architecture is modern there are historical domed rooms in it's floors under ground. Especially the huge roman mosaic is a must see!

The underground tunnels of the Bock are a great way to learn about the history of Luxembourg (city and country) and you can enjoy a stunning view over the valley of the Grund!

The city park is like a green belt around the old city centre and a beautiful place to have a picnic or a stroll.
