These are a few restaurants around Kingston that I enjoy with mentions of nights when they have specials
JoJo's is a jerk pit is located across the road from the apartment and as the name suggests offering authentic Jamaican jerk but so much more, such as burgers, pastas, curry goat for the adventurous and seafood for the non meat lovers.
They have a weekly Karoke on Thursdays, a lot of fun and many locals stop by for drinks, singing and light bites.

100 is primarily featured as a Casino but does have a booming restaurant and bar accompaniment.
On a Monday you can go there between 7pm-11pm you can enjoy 'all you can eat crab' (Spicy, Curry, Garlic) for 2000JMD + GCT (our Tax) they also offer other seafood dishes at a great price on Monday nights.
On Fridays and Saturdays you will find persons at the bar on the roof, enjoying the local nightlife and a drink.

100 Hope Rd100 is primarily featured as a Casino but does have a booming restaurant and bar accompaniment.

If Mexican is a love of yours as it is for me, you MUST try our Jamexican restaurant, they open everyday serving a mix of tacos, burritos, enchiladas and the likes. On Mondays they do margarita discounts, Tuesdays they host a taco Tuesday with discounts on their tacos all day long and on Fridays they offer a discount on burritos.
You will find this restaurant is inexpensive and often packed with locals especially on the days where specials are offered, they are always playing music and serving great food.

Chilitos Jamexican Food
88 Hope RdIf Mexican is a love of yours as it is for me, you MUST try our Jamexican restaurant, they open everyday serving a mix of tacos, burritos, enchiladas and the likes. On Mondays they do margarita discounts, Tuesdays they host a taco Tuesday with discounts on their tacos all day long and on Fridays they offer a discount on burritos.
You will find this restaurant is inexpensive and often packed with locals especially on the days where specials are offered, they are always playing music and serving great food.
If you love DIM SUM then you must try this restaurant. A popular location for dim sum on Sundays which starts promptly at 11:00 am. Don't go too late as you may not find a table!
They also offer good Chinese food throughout the day.

OPA is a Greek restaurant which is located in Devon House, on Fridays you will find that after dinner you can pop next door to the Reggae Mill Bar and enjoy a night of dancing and drinks. A popular spot on Fridays with a 1000JMD cover charge.

26 Hope RdOPA is a Greek restaurant which is located in Devon House, on Fridays you will find that after dinner you can pop next door to the Reggae Mill Bar and enjoy a night of dancing and drinks. A popular spot on Fridays with a 1000JMD cover charge.
Terra Nova is the hotel located about 1 minute walk from the apartment. They do a great brunch on Sundays, a high tea on Thursdays and have a Casino for the gambler near the back of the Hotel. The food is excellent but a bit more pricey, definitely dress up if intending to dine in the restaurant.

Terra Nova is the hotel located about 1 minute walk from the apartment. They do a great brunch on Sundays, a high tea on Thursdays and have a Casino for the gambler near the back of the Hotel. The food is excellent but a bit more pricey, definitely dress up if intending to dine in the restaurant.

Sightseeing
The University was established in 1948 and has grown immensely since then. The site of training for many of Jamaica's famous athletes including Usain Bolt. Wonderful vistas, and quiet spots. Check out the Bookstore for great Caribbean books and publications. Visit the Chapel which was created using stones from an old Estate house in Jamaica which was dismantled stone by stone, transported across the island and set up on site. Look up on the ceiling at the crests of the Caribbean islands which support the University

The University was established in 1948 and has grown immensely since then. The site of training for many of Jamaica's famous athletes including Usain Bolt. Wonderful vistas, and quiet spots.
