The Pula Arena is the name of the amphitheater located in Pula, Croatia. The Arena is the only remaining Roman amphitheater to have four side towers and with all three Roman architectural orders entirely preserved. It was constructed in 27 BC – 68 AD and is among the six largest surviving Roman arenas in the World. A rare example among the 200 surviving Roman amphitheaters, it is also the best preserved ancient monument in Croatia.

The Brijuni Islands are a group of fourteen small islands separated from the west coast of the Istrian peninsula by the narrow Fažana Strait. The largest island, Veliki Brijun Island lies 2 kilometers off the coast. The second largest island is Mali Brijun, and twelve much smaller islands. Famous for their scenic beauty, the islands are a holiday resort and a Croatian National Park.
