Food Scene

Great local food and drink. They smoke their own ingredients, their beer is local and very good, in the bar you can have Tapas dishes, an upstairs a varied gastropub menu.

A wonderfully whacky foodie destination. A real local gem, food is as local as it can be, and is cooked with great imagination and expertise. We think it's the best breakfast/brunch in Devon, and cocktail hour is not to be missed either.

Hugely popular with millennials, the food is from a 25 mile menu and is part of the hugely successful Pig Group. Set in lovely grounds, you can go full menu, or just have pizza flat breads in the Orangery.

This you have to book, can be done on their website. This is the multi course dining experience you have seen on TV. One long table, about fifty people. It works really well and the food is really local and first class.

Stunning Regency seaside town. Has both pebble and sandy beaches. The sand on the sandy beach was specially selected as it's the best kind to make sand castles. Lots of great cafes, bars and restaurants.
