About 10 min walk by the beach in south direction from apartment - there is a The Antique period necropolis with over twenty-five inscriptions, most of them tombstones with the names of individuals and details on their lives and family trees make the St Martin locality an abundant source of information on the history of Podstrana during Antiquity.
The most famous name from the St Martin necropolis is that of Lucius Artorius Castus...Look for King s Arthur s sword nearby :)

Old city of Podstrana, it is high in the hills. I recomend to go by car , than hike to the top. It is worth every step!
