Excellent high-end Mexican food and drinks. There usually is a long wait here, but its open everyday for lunch and dinner (brunch on weekends). Lunch time during the week is a great time to go, as there is no wait!

There always is a line, but it isn't as bad as a line in the Mission (this is in the Inner Richmond). Everything here is good. They only have coffee, croissants, and morning buns (and the like).

Go here for the tacos. They make the tortillas fresh and on-the-spot for your order with fresh masa. If you want to watch, walk towards the back on the left hand side of the restaurant (opposite the cashier) and the masa and tortilla grill is in right there for you!

This is the oldest Burmese restaurant in San Francisco, and this is the only location. Unlike the local chain Burma Superstar, this place is not trendy. However, we think the food is much better, the owner is always there greeting guests, you have real Buddhist alters, the decor is quirky, and the food is better. We always bring our personal guests here when they visit! Get the tea leaf salad and the somusa soup for appetizers. We highly recommend the mango chicken and Burmese special noodles.

However, we think the food is much better, the owner is always there greeting guests, you have real Buddhist alters, the decor is quirky, and the food is better. We always bring our personal guests here when they visit! Get the tea leaf salad and the somusa soup for appetizers. We highly recommend the mango chicken and Burmese special noodles.
This remodeled building is architecturally gorgeous and it contains a variety of upscale food and food accessory shops, in addition to housing offices on upper levels.

This is an excellent local grocer and never too crowded. We recommend the meats. There also is a great bakery that is connected (you have to pay separately, its a little confusing).

This is a pre-1906 Queen Anne Victorian, with many original finishes and furniture. What isn't original is from the 1920s and is still of great historical interest. Volunteer docent-led tours are required and provided for a donation.

This is where all the kids go to play when its a nice day. You should check it out for yourself. Note this is San Francisco so everything happens here, but there is a new children's playground and up the top (near "gay beach") there are beautiful views of the city skyline.
