Lots of amazing sites here but more rough. Hovenweep is beautiful and has a good trail around the site. I know of others that are smaller but accessible.

Lots of amazing sites here but more rough. Hovenweep is beautiful and has a good trail around the site. I know of others that are smaller but accessible.
Another amazing site here for sure!! This one is 2 hours from our home and it does get hot. Not great for taking you dog though due to heat and they are not allowed on certain trails. Although its a drive ti is completely possible from here especially with a bit of an early start--say 8 or 9. You will want to take lunch for this one!
