The Prinsenbos is a forest close to the center of Grimbergen. In the forest are the ruins of the Prinsenkasteel, the football ground of KSC Grimbergen, a sports hall and the forest chapel, a Maria chapel that was founded in 1954 by the soldiers of TTR from Vilvoorde and owned by the municipality.

An old water mill next to the Maalbeek about one kilometer from the center of Grimbergen. Thus place used to be known for its terrace, beer and pancakes. Since a few years the former owners of the Lammekeshoeve decided to upgrade this to a real restaurant. It worked fantastically.
A relatively limited choice but only top products. Every dish is taken care of with an eye for detail. Count about 45 Euros per person which is cheap for the quality given.
One detail important for kids and elderly is that toilets are in an annex small buiding.

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, Original trendy decoration. Limited menu, only pasta but that's the reason why people come here. The pasta is cooked as it should be, al dente. The bolognaise saus is basic. The portions are huge.
