The Hume Hotel and Spa is one of our favourite local spots. They pretty much have it all - restaurant, night club, pub, bar, liquor store and a luxury spa for when you want to treat yourself. Always a treat. If you want to soak in some of the local history "the Library" is a great place to pop in for a drink, some food and live jazz music.

We love this super cute little restaurant. Our faves are the garlic calamari, yam fries and the stuffed chicken. If you love garlic you'll love the Outer Clove because EVERYTHING has garlic in it. Even their chocolate chip cookies!!!

Entertainment & Activities

We love Ainsworth and visit there regularly. With its majestic natural hot spring caves and giant warm pool this is a super lovely place to go and relax for a few hours, enjoying the beautiful scenery of Kootenay Lake along the way.
