Getting Around
One of two main train stations in Dublin. Easily accessible via the Red Line Luas from the blackhorse stop. You can get to many parts of the country from here. Visit Kildare town for shopping and attractions such as the National Stud and Japanese gardens. A day trip to Galway City to experience the best of the west. Trip to Cork and back from here as well.

Dublin Zoo is one of the largest zoo's in Europe and is a huge family attraction in Dublin. It is usually best to visit it during the week as weekends can be very busy. We don’t want to give too much away but the object of the game is to: Work together as a team to solve puzzles and escape from a mysterious room/rooms within 60 minutes. Only one third of participants manage to escape within the given time. Use logic and lateral thinking to tackle the tasks at hand with the help of obscure and interesting objects to regain freedom.

The Royal Hospital Kilmainham is an iconic landmark, built in 1680. It is open to public to visit the grounds at no cost. The grounds and gardens are lovely here and very pleasant to stroll through. The Irish Museum of Modern art is also housed on the grounds and is worth a visit, again at no cost.

Set in the historic Richmond Barracks – within whose walls over 3,000 Irish rebels were held – the interactive, multimedia attraction will trace the story of the site from military barracks to housing estate and from school, to exhibition centre.

The memorial park is a lovely place to enjoy a stroll or jog through pleasant surrounding by the river. Dog lovers will particularly enjoy this as you will meet many breeds out for a wander in this park with their owners.

This is one of the largest parks in a European capital and is a 20 minute walk from Inchicore. Its well worth a visit for a wander through it. There are various interesting items to vist in the park, Dublin zoo and Farmleigh House are some fine examples.

An estate of seventy-eight acres situated to the north-west of Dublin’s Phoenix Park, Farmleigh provides accommodation for visiting dignitaries and guests of the nation. As a historic house, Farmleigh remains a unique representation of its heyday, the Edwardian period, and houses important artworks and furnishings, as well as the Benjamin Iveagh collection of rare books, bindings, and manuscripts which is held in the Library.

This is a lovely small Italian restaurant in the village of Inchicore. The staff are friendly, and food is unfailingly excellent, usually with solid wine choices. There is also the option of takeout pizza which was a step above any delivery pizza.
