Elsinore is most famous for Hamlet Castle (Kronborg) which is very worthwhile. But don´t neglect the rest of this beautiful old town, with its narrow streets of multicolored up to 500 year-old houses, the old cathedrals and monasteries and the coastal line all around the city.
In the recent years, the new Cultural Yard in the city´s former shipyard and the very unique maritime museum M/S in one the old dry docks, both drawn by world famous Danish architect Bjarke Ingels Group, has gained a lot of well-earned attention. Don´t miss it!
