Nice rolling hills on this hike just outside of North Bend, WA. You can make it just 90 minutes or much much longer. Recommend looking up this one as well as others online. http://www.wta.org/go-hikin

RATHER FAR: Great 3 mile walk/run. Need to park above the lake as it is always crowded but great people watching in Seattle. They rent various boating items also.

Food Scene
This is v close and a great place to eat and see a tremendous view. Dinner is a little pricey, but even happy hour in the bar next to the fire is a treat.

CLOSE: A real dive but great beer and fun to sit outside or even play croquet in the back. It's an old house on Mercer Island, one of the most expensive areas in WA. Fun to see and a lot of history.

CLOSE: a lower key place to walk around and get a bite. Use your GPS to check out Flat Iron Grill, Levitate and Issaquah Brewhouse (great to take the back roads via Newport Way).

CLOSE: Easiest shopping/etc. Nordstrom Rack (outlet) is a big hit, and DSW (shoes). Tokyo (Japanese), Ricardo's (Mexican), and Thai Ginger are my favorite eats.
